Phyllosilicate-Rich Terrain adjacent to Toro Crater

Phyllosilicate-Rich Terrain adjacent to Toro Crater

Clay-Rich Terrain adjacent to Toro Crater
A simple but effective rationale for acquiring this image: an area of mineralogic interest identified by CRISM, which lacks HiRISE coverage. Toro Crater is 42 kilometers in diameter with a depth of 2 km, located on the northern margin of the Syrtis Major volcanic plains.
