The science rationale for this request from HiWish is to image an area of mineralogic interest identified by CRISM (also onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter) that lacks HiRISE coverage. This cutout is from the infrared-red-blue swath, to view the details better than we can see in black and white. Nergil is 52-kilometer diameter complex crater located north of Syrtis Major.
