Also visible in Context Camera data, the objective of this observation is to examine a spot where troughs have formed a group of cell-shapes. Mamers Valles, in the Northern Hemisphere, are dated to the early Hesperian period, about 3.8 billion years ago, and are named for the Oscan word for Mars.
