Measure Orientations of Layers in Luba Crater

Measure Orientations of Layers in Luba Crater

Of Layers in Luba Crater
Our science goal is to measure the orientations of layers in candidate lake deposits to test out a lake hypothesis. We want to see if the flat crater-bottom deposits are actually lake deposits as opposed to distal alluvial-fan deposits. Luba is about 35 kilometers in diameter and is named for a town in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
