Dune Monitoring in Dein Crater

Dune Monitoring in Dein Crater

This Little Field of Dunes
Our goal with this observation is to capture as much of the dune field in Dein Crater as possible in order to investigate seasonal dune changes. This small area has no previous HiRISE coverage. Dein Crater is named after the town of Dein in New Guinea and is about 25 kilometers in diameter and is located to the south of Bamberg Crater.
