Yardangs on Mars
Yardangs are landforms shaped like the upside-down keel of a ship, formed in soft rocks by wind erosion. Reminiscent of a flotilla of ships, the yardangs in this image are roughly parallel. The tall steep triangular side faces into the prevailing wind.
