Layers in Kasei
The objective of this observation is to examine layers in the wall of Kasei Valles. In this image field, there are thin and thick layers visible. This image will help compare layers here with those in other places. Kasei Valles is one of the largest outflow channel systems on Mars, in places up to 482 kilometers (300 miles) wide and 1580 km (982 mi) long.
