This small crater is on the outskirts of a large eroded crater, next to Lowell Crater. The ground around the chosen region is very pockmarked, and has lots of bumps and ridges as well. The section of the crater wall shows signs of erosion much more significant than the other parts of the wall. This erosion could be from water or lava, but water seems much more likely. Lowell is to the east of this locale.
