This image offers an erosional window into one hundred meters of flat crater-floor deposits. These are presumably sedimentary, as wind has trouble eroding into lava. They may also be lake deposits because the crater floor is very flat. The eye of faith sees layers in the walls of the erosional window, but the eye of HiRISE is needed to be sure.
