Small Channel in Tartarus Colles

Small Channel in Tartarus Colles

A Small Channel in Tartarus Colles
In this image, we can see a small topographic channel that is winding between hills in Tartarus Colles. This has been interpreted as a lava tube, and images from the Mars Orbiter Camera show platy-ridged flows in this vicinity. With high resolution, and a digital terrain model, we can learn more about this proposed tube.
