Material Exposed in Plains South of Louros Valles

Material Exposed in Plains South of Louros Valles

Exposed on the Plains
This observation overlaps an existing image, but there’s an opportunity to get unique color and some new coverage coordinated with the CRISM instrument. The bright material here in the plains to the south of Louros Valles, a system of sapping channels, also appeared as such in nighttime infrared THEMIS data. Lourous is named after a river in Greece.
