Polar Layered Deposits Unconformity

Unconformity
The goal is to examine the juxtaposition of unconformities and associated truncated and adjacent polar layered deposits. In geology, an unconformity is the contact between two rock units. Unconformities are buried erosional surfaces that can represent a break in the geologic record. The color data may allow for thinner layers to be distinguished within thicker layer sequences.
