Cross-Cutting Sinuous Ridges in Tempe Terra

Cross-Cutting Sinuous Ridges in Tempe Terra

Cross-Cutting Ridges in Tempe Terra
Tempe Terra is a focus region for studies of esker-like sinuous ridges associated with extant glaciers. This target focuses on nearby ridges that are not clearly associated with such glaciers and have some characteristics that are atypical of eskers. They will serve as examples for comparative 3D analyses exploring alternative, non-glacial origins for the nearby esker-like sinuous ridges in this locale.
