Volcanic Features around Ceraunius Fossae Horst

Volcanic Features around Ceraunius Fossae Horst

Volcanic Features around Ceraunius Fossae
This image features three volcanic features in one location. The first is a north-south linear depression that is heavily influenced by topography. Over an east-west aligned depression, the feature has a shape similar to an effusive volcanic vent. Finally to the south, we see the depression has a crater chain morphology. The three elevations may provide an example of how deep the dikes are in this area and what amount of fragmentation there is.
